So how does it work?

This site is aimed at small companies looking for office space to rent, and companies who have surplus desk space or a surplus room available and would prefer to make some revenue from it, rather it than sitting empty collecting old files.

Where we work best is by matching companies together who compliment each other, so it’s not just a desk or a place to work – it becomes a more dynamic environment where new ideas, resources and prospects can be shared, joint ventures develop and corporate marriages are made.

Main benefits of OfficeSharing

OfficeSharing works best when introductions are made between companies who can both get something out of it. Our first ever placement is a good example. A web design company had some open-plan desk space available due to a future requirement. A newly formed ad agency were looking for a new office to launch the company.

Money is tight during the first few months of setting up a company, and because the ad agency used OfficeSharing, they only needed to pay per workstation and not for individual costs of setting themselves up - that is, furniture, telephone system, Internet access, security, cleaning, reception and so on. Furthermore, there were no capital costs such as redecoration, photocopiers and fax machines, as these were shared. They were also able to buy a phone number and be answered by the receptionists.
